From a small community gathering to a vibrant celebration of visibility, inclusion and pride, this exhibition tells the story of Pride in Peterborough and how it has grown over the years.

Through photographs, memories and personal stories shared by organisers, performers and attendees, it highlights the passion, dedication and community spirit that have helped shape Pride into the celebration it is today.

Drag & Draw
19 June, 6 - 8.30pm

Join us for a fabulous evening of drag and drawing with Peterborough’s dazzling local queens, Teddi and Holly.

Expect big personalities, plenty of sparkle, and a relaxed, welcoming space to get creative. Sketch, scribble, and experiment - whether you’re a total beginner or a seasoned artist, all skill levels are welcome.

All materials are provided, just bring yourself and get ready for a fun, feel-good night of creativity and entertainment

LGBTQ+ History and Archives at Bishopsgate Institute
4 July, 2pm

Join Stefan Dickers, Special Collections and Archives Manager at Bishopsgate Institute, for a fascinating talk exploring one of the UK's most significant LGBTQ+ archives.

Home to thousands of books, journals, pamphlets, photographs, press cuttings and artefacts, the Institute's collections document LGBTQ+ history, activism and culture from the late 19th century to the present day. Stefan will share the stories behind the collections and offer an insight into preserving this important heritage.
