Get ready for a fang-tastic half term at Peterborough Museum, packed with monster training, candlelit adventures, dancing, LEGO©, crafts and family films. With plenty of spooky surprises along the way, there’s Halloween fun for little ghouls and witches of all ages!

Monster School

Do you dream of becoming the biggest, boldest, and most brilliant monster you can be? Then our monster school is the place for you!

Our exciting monster training programme is designed to help every young monster discover their unique talents. With fun-filled lessons, hands-on activities, and expert monster mentors, every class is an adventure waiting to happen.

Activities include:

  • Slime Science – Experiment with goo, ooze, and all things slimy!
  • Creepy Crawly Care – Learn how to look after your favourite creepy companions
  • Monster Masterclass – Develop essential monster skills and discover what makes you truly monstrous

And that's just the beginning! With rewards to earn from each class, join us and take your first step towards becoming the monster you were born to be.

Monster Mash After Dark

Calling all little ghosts, ghoulies and witches to Monster Mash at the Museum this Halloween!

Can you find your way around the museum by candlelight?

It is sure to be a hair-raising evening full of fang-tastic fun frights. Don’t forget to end your night with your haunting hot chocolate.

Frightening fancy dress heavily encouraged!

Halloween Disco

Friday 30 October, 5pm-7pm

Get ready for a spook-tacular evening of frightfully good fun! Bring the whole family along for music, dancing, games, and Halloween excitement, with a fantastic mix of family-friendly tunes, and plenty of spooky surprises - there's something for Halloween characters of all ages to enjoy.

So dig out your witches' hats, superhero capes, skeleton costumes, and monster masks. There will be prizes for the best costumes, making it the perfect opportunity to show off your most creative Halloween look.

Tickets: £5 per person

All children must be accompanied by an adult. Refreshments will be available to buy on the night.

LEGO® Club: Bats

Sat 31 October, 11am-1pm

FREE, just drop in!

Get creative and build a bat habitat. Using LEGO® bricks, you’ll design and build imaginative solutions that show how we can build a better future.

This activity has been made possible through the partnership between the Natural History Museum and the LEGO Group’s Build the Change programme.
