Get ahead, work on the form and structure of the human head to achieve a good likeness. You will also having the opportunity of getting to grips with anatomy at this one day workshop at Peterborough Museum and Art Gallery.
There will be two models, one in the morning and another in the afternoon to provide artists with different features to work from. Drawing and acrylic painting materials are provided, and artists are welcome to bring their own favourite mediums, canvases and supports too. We will start with an examination of the head structure and facial features with a discussion on how to approach it for building a drawing or painting; help and advice will be on hand throughout the practical sessions. For those who wish, artists are also able to pursue their own practice in the group session.
Lunch and refreshments are included.
