Candlelit Ghost Tour (Age 14+)

Dare you spend the evening by candlelight at a tour of the most haunted building in Peterborough?

Many ghosts are said to lurk around the halls of the Museum, from a ghostly servant to a phantom girl, and the museum’s most notorious ghost: the ‘Lonely ANZAC’, Thomas Hunter. Uncover their stories with a costumed guide on the museum’s most popular tour. You won't look at it in the same light again...

Candlelit Tour with a glass of wine (Adults only)

Join us for a special Candlelit tour on Halloween evening. Be greeted by your costumed tour guide and enjoy a glass of wine**, before exploring Peterborough Museum by candlelight alone.

Halloween Ghost Walk (Age 8+)

With a brand-new route, stalk the streets with a costumed guide this Halloween on Peterborough's original ghost walk. The walk starts from the museum, Peterborough's most haunted building, and heads around the city centre - and be on the lookout for ghostly happenings!

Halloween family fun activities & events

After Dark at the WHO-seum

Calling all Whovians! Grab your companions big or small and join in for an after dark journey through time and space, helping to fight evil, protect the innocent and stop history being altered forever! Enjoy a spooky trail around the museum, followed by
a delicious hot chocolate reward in the café.

Tue 28 & Thu 30 Oct / 6pm – 8pm Entry start times: 6pm, 6:15pm, 6:30pm and 6.45pm

Monster Fun

We're taking inspiration from the out-of-this-world monsters over October half term, plus meet some live animals* often seen as scary, and discover why they could just be 'misunderstood'. Explore monster myths and design your own creature - join us for some monster fun!

Thus 30 & Fri 31 Oct - 10am - 3.15pm

Tickets: Adult £6, Child £5, Family £22, under 5s free

*On site between 10am - 3pm, and include snakes, spiders, scorpions, lizards and hedgehogs just to name a few!

Tiny Tots Spooky Special

A special one-off session, that includes messy slime, sensory play and storytime. Perfect for confident walkers to under 5s.

After Dark viewing

You might need a sofa to hide behind for this one…

The lights are low and there’s an eerie feeling about the place, you’ll need your wits about you for this exclusive after-hours exhibition visit. Places are limited so don’t miss out!
