Friday Nights, Ghostly Sights!

One of our most popular tours! Dare you spend the evening in the city’s most haunted building by candlelight alone? With many ghosts said to lurk the halls, this tour sets out to uncover some of their stories. Led by a costumed guide (and with no tricks or spooky set-ups), visit our haunted cellars, hear about our most famous ghost ‘the lonely ANZAC’ and the many other sightings or paranormal activity reported at the Museum.

£9 per person.
Not recommended for under 14s.
Tours last approximately 90 minutes.
Please note this tour involves stairs.

Explore the Museum’s 500-year-old cellars with a special costumed guide, as ghosts from the past come to life to tell you their stories. The cellars have original features, such as remains of the Tudor house which once stood here, but they also have a sinister side! Our evening tours tend to be a little scarier than those in the daytime.
