Create your own sci-fi monster and earn a nationally recognised certificate! Includes exhibition entry & all materials.

12 & 13 Aug, 9.30am - 3pm (can be completed before 3pm)

Inspired by the weird and wonderful world of Doctor Who?

Step into the world of sci-fi creativity in this full-day workshop where you’ll design and build your own monster model – drawing inspiration from real costumes and props featured in our Adventures in Time & Space exhibition.

As part of the day, you’ll also complete a Discover: Arts Award booklet, earning a nationally recognised certificate from Trinity College London for your creative achievements!

Workshop highlights:

9:30am – Welcome & sketching ideas inside the Adventures in Time & Space exhibition
10:30am – Model-making demonstration & begin crafting your own monster
12:00pm – Lunch break (please bring a packed lunch)
12:30pm–3:00pm – Finish your model, complete the Arts Award booklet at your own pace
3:00pm – Session ends

Key Information:

Suitable for children in Key Stage 2 and above
All children under 16 must be accompanied by at least one adult
Ticket includes entry to the Adventures in Time & Space exhibition
All materials provided – just bring your imagination and a packed lunch!
