My Must Farm

My Must Farm

This our story, tell it with us

The My Must Farm project is made possible with The National Lottery Heritage Fund. Thanks to National Lottery players, we will be able to create a permanent Must Farm exhibition curated with the community at Peterborough Museum and Art Gallery.

Have your say, get involved

Connecting collections and community, the My Must Farm events programme will be running throughout 2026 until June 2027

The My Must Farm project aims to place community voices at the heart of interpretation, ensuring that the story of the “Pompeii of the Fens” reflects both its archaeological importance and its relevance today. Alongside the permanent exhibition, the project will deliver accessible digital resources and opportunities for learning, research and creativity.

About the Project

Peterborough Museum is delighted to have been awarded a £250,000 grant from The National Lottery Heritage Fund to support a two-year initiative, centred on the internationally significant Bronze Age archaeology of Must Farm in Whittlesey.
